Squishy Bits 4

It's getting towards the end of the month, and Squishables is pushing to finish cutting submissions down to prepare for voting, which should be up fairly soon, so I've got a few more rejections to post.

First up: Clydesdale
"With the lofty dreams of a future pulling wagons of beer this little guy hopes to follow in the family business. Providing humans with intoxication is all part of the long term plans for planetary domination."

Next: Giggly Ghost

"This terribly happy ghost, is less interested in haunting and more interested in saturday morning cartoons, so if you could just change the channel, that pony show should be on right about now...."

Squishy Bits 2

Rejected Goldfish design for the Squishable competition. I pretty much knew this one was going to be nixed, but it made me laugh, so, whatever.

Squishy Bits

So there's a competition over at Squishable for new designs, and I need money, so I made one, but that turned out to be really fun so then I made a whole bunch.

Here's a Killer Whale that was rejected, but I really like, so... Yep. Present!

I'll put another up soon.

Brunch

I went to a brunch meet up thing today and naturally ended up drawing all over the table. Sorry about the shadow, we kind of left in a hurry.

Fahrenheit 451 book cover

Fahrenheit 451 book cover I started in 2009, I think? I didn't want it to be like all the others I was seeing with fire everywhere, so a quiet viewing.

oil painted forever ago. modified and text added in photoshop.

let's see what blogspot does to my colors....

Logo and business cards

I did a logo for the law office of Lytle & Barszcz. These are a few of the many logo roughs that were turned down. The gavel was just a doodle, but I zoned out and vectored into an illustration.

They pretty much knew where they wanted to go with it, though, and here's the final product on a card. (The gray is just a place holder for where metallic silver is planned to be printed.)
